We have a 4-year fully funded PhD studentship starting May–June 2026, focused on Metal–Organic Frameworks (MOFs) for green hydrogen production and advanced water treatment.
🎓 Joint PhD (UAE & UK) – The student will be enrolled in UAEU.
🏛️ United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) & London South Bank University (LSBU)
💰 8,000 AED/month stipend + full tuition
✈️ UK travel, visa & insurance covered
The project is jointly supervised by Prof Na’il Saleh (UAEU) and Dr Tariq Sajjad (LSBU)
Ph.D. Positions
Currently, we have 4-year fully funded Ph.D. position available in the area of Green Hydrogen & Water Treatment (see the advert above). However, self-funded students are welcome to apply. Our current research is focused on

- Photo(electro)catalysis for Hydrogen Production

- Agritech (Nanao-fertiliser and Nano-optical antenna for Sustainable Farming and Agriculture)
